Each commission goes through a thorough process of design deliberation. Choice of material, Technical approaches, type of finishing are all considered. After which, a the process of making starts. 

This is where your whims and fancy come alive. Want that secret drawer under the desk? A bespoke marquetry design on your box? Sure, we could talk about that. 

I'M AN INDEPENDENT DESIGNER / MAKER

I work alone most of the time in my tiny little studio. There are no big fancy machines or high tech laser guidance systems here. I use primarily hand tools with the occasional hand held power tools. I wish I had 2 more pairs of hands to work with  but I wouldn't know if my brain can work them out. 

Studio Sessions

Learn how to use hand tools effectively and safely. Understand the material, make test joints and try out different techniques. Begin by making simple projects before gradually designing and building your own projects. Or be involved in your pieces by working under my guidance to be part of your own realisations.
